A whimsical interpretation of geometric forms transformed into sailboats landings reminiscent of Percival Landing in downtown Olympia. Curvilinear improvisations piecing techniques are used here to give this quilt a wonderful light-hearted sensibility. Carolyn is teaching classes in this techinique at Sew What's Happening, a wonderful surface design and quilting shop on the west side of Olympia. Call 360-704-7397 for more information.
